You prepare your hand luggage in a hurry, in order to be on time for your departure with Air Dolomiti. In fact, always before leaving your home or office for the airport, you must check your luggage and confirm that it meets the requirements of the Italian company and respects its baggage allowance and transport policy.
Hand baggage transport: Number of pieces and maximum weight
Let’s start by giving practical information about it:
– Hand luggage weight limit: 8 kg
– Dimensions: 55x40x20cm
There are logically differences depending on your booking. If you have chosen Economy Light, Economy Class or Economy Flex, you will only be allowed one piece of hand luggage. Instead, you can carry two if you have made a Business Saver or Business Flex reservation: from June 26, however, one of the two must be checked in the hold.
Items to put and not to put in hand luggage
Certain objects and items are strictly prohibited in this type of baggage such as firearms, pointed or pointed objects, blunt instruments, work tools, incendiary devices. Any powdered substance that exceeds 340 or 350ml in hand luggage may be prohibited.
On the other hand, you can carry electronic cigarettes, spare lithium-ion batteries, cameras, laptops, while it will be mandatory to insert external batteries here and not in the hold.
Your hand luggage should be the best choice for storing your personal documents or electronic equipment such as smartphones and laptops.
– Carry liquids in handbags
It is Air Dolomiti’s policy that each passenger may carry a maximum of 100ml per container and that a maximum, when added together, does not exceed 1 litre. Containers must be contained in a sealed plastic bag. You can always bring baby food, medication to be taken during the flight, with the presence of a prescription, or food for specific diets.
Checked baggage: How many pieces for each traveller?
Air Dolomiti grants a limited number of checked baggage items depending on the capacity of the aircraft and the price of the airline ticket purchased by the passenger:

Baggage transport on board Air Dolomiti aircraft: Weight and dimensions not to be exceeded
Air Dolomiti sets a size limit for carrying hand luggage. Bags and suitcases going into the cabin must measure 115cm or less.
Regarding checked baggage, the threshold is set at: 115cm (55cmx40cmx20cm) for the transport of baggage in the hold.
Boarding an Air Dolomiti plane with extra baggage
The possibility of carrying an oversized piece of baggage, or checking in an additional piece of baggage, is offered on all Air Dolomiti flights, for a fee.
For passengers whose plane tickets do not entitle them to carry baggage in the hold, they can still register their items by paying a fee ranging from €15 to €45 for a weight that varies between €50 and €300.
