– Bicycles or scooters disassembled/folded and placed in transport covers measuring less than 160 cm (height + length + width), including pockets, wheels and handles. Each cover is then counted as one piece of baggage and starts the baggage allowance described above.
– Luggage that you can carry alone.
A few rules to follow
Baggage labeling is mandatory. They must clearly include the surname and first name of the traveller.
You are responsible for your personal belongings (luggage, bicycle, scooter, etc.) for the duration of your trip, including in the event of damage to an element of the car (floor, seat, etc.). Trenitalia declines all responsibility in the event of loss or theft of your luggage and personal items.

Prohibited items
It is forbidden to carry on board
- perishable foodstuffs likely to deteriorate during the trip,
- foodstuffs giving off an embarrassing odor for the comfort of other passengers,
- dangerous products (chemicals, etc.), weapons, explosives or flammable liquids,
- illicit products according to the laws in force in the territories crossed (France – Italy),
- surfboards, sailboards, skis
- bicycles or scooters with the exception of disassembled/folded bicycles or scooters in transport covers measuring less than 160 cm (height + length + width), including pockets, wheels and handles. Larger covers are strictly prohibited on board.
Electrical devices (other than computers, tablets and mobile phones) must be turned off, individually protected and stored in the spaces dedicated to luggage.
For everyone’s safety, in the event of overheating of any device, inform the crew immediately.
Trenitalia reserves the right to refuse boarding of baggage and passengers who do not comply with these rules, without the right to reimbursement.
Trenitalia reserves the right to check the contents of the bags, in the presence of the traveling owner and, if necessary, may prohibit the carriage or continue to carry luggage containing goods excluded from carriage, without any compensation for the traveler being admitted.
